Copyright & Image Usage Policy
At TNTGraphix, we take the protection of our creative work and our clients’ rights seriously. This policy explains how copyright ownership, image usage and licensing apply to photographs, videos and other visual content created by TNTGraphix.
1. Copyright Ownership
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all photographs, videos, graphics, digital artwork and other visual content created by TNTGraphix remain the intellectual property and copyright of TNTGraphix.
Commissioning, booking or paying for a photography or production service does not automatically transfer copyright ownership to the client.
Copyright remains with TNTGraphix unless a separate written copyright assignment has been agreed and signed by both parties.
2. Client Licence
Once the agreed invoice has been paid in full, TNTGraphix grants the client a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the final delivered images for the purposes agreed at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, personal photography clients may use their delivered images for:
- Personal social media accounts
- Personal websites
- Personal portfolios
- Printing for private use
- Family albums and personal displays
- Personal announcements and celebrations
- Sharing with friends and family
This licence does not give the client ownership of the copyright.
3. Commercial Usage
Images created for personal clients may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from TNTGraphix.
Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:
- Advertising
- Product promotion
- Brand campaigns
- Business websites
- Paid social media campaigns
- Marketing materials
- Packaging
- Publications
- Merchandise
- Paid promotions
- Third-party advertising
- Licensing or resale of images
Commercial clients will receive usage rights based on the terms specifically agreed in their quotation, contract or licence agreement.
Additional fees may apply where extended or unrestricted commercial usage is requested.
4. Resale, Licensing & Redistribution
Clients may not sell, sublicense, transfer, redistribute or commercially exploit photographs or other visual content created by TNTGraphix without prior written authorisation.
Clients may not submit TNTGraphix images to stock photography websites, image libraries or third-party licensing platforms without written permission.
5. Editing & Alteration
TNTGraphix retains the right to professionally edit, retouch, colour-grade, crop and process images according to its artistic and technical standards.
Clients may not materially alter, manipulate or re-edit delivered photographs in a manner that misrepresents TNTGraphix’s work without prior written permission.
This includes significant alterations using filters, AI image-generation tools, face manipulation or other editing technologies.
6. RAW & Original Files
RAW files, camera originals, project files, source files, unedited footage and working files remain the property of TNTGraphix unless their release has been specifically included in a written agreement.
Only the final edited deliverables included in the client’s package will be supplied unless otherwise agreed.
7. Copyright Infringement
Unauthorised copying, reproduction, commercial exploitation, distribution, licensing, modification or use of TNTGraphix’s work outside the rights granted under these terms may constitute copyright infringement.
TNTGraphix reserves the right to take appropriate action to protect its intellectual property and creative work.
8. Written Permission
Any exception to this policy must be agreed in writing by TNTGraphix.
Where copyright ownership or extended usage rights are purchased, the specific rights granted will be clearly stated in the relevant written agreement.
By booking TNTGraphix, the client acknowledges that they are purchasing photography or production services and the agreed usage rights, rather than automatically purchasing copyright ownership of the resulting creative work.
